Sandy has been a member of NACE International since 1980. He has served as Assistant Secretary/Treasurer, Publicity Chairman for Calgary Section, and as Publicity Chairman for 1983 and Session Chairman for 1987 Canadian Western Regional Conferences. In addition, Sandy was instrumental in founding the Bluewater Section of NACE in January 1992, and has since served as Section Chairman, Career Development Chairman, and Trustee of that region. He is currently the Director of Ammonite Corrosion Eng. Inc.
